Suzie DeNillo joined the Daemen Athletics staff as Director of Compliance in February 2022 and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Success in September of 2022. She is responsible for the development, implementation and review of Daemen's athletic compliance program ensuring adherence to NCAA and East Coast Conference rules and regulations, as well as policies and procedures established by Daemen and the Division of Athletics.
DeNillo brings nearly a decade of experience in a variety of roles within intercollegiate athletics. Most recently, she served as the Manager of Athletic Operations at Allegheny College. It was DeNillo's second stint at the NCAA Division III institution in Meadville, Pa. She had previously gotten her career started there as an Assistant Softball Coach with the Gators' program from 2012-15.
DeNillo would join the head coaching ranks at Alderson Broaddus University, an NCAA Division II institution in Philippi, W. Va. She returned to the Division III level and led the softball program at Alfred State College for three seasons (2017-19). While there, DeNillo additionally worked as the Assistant Sports Information Director.
Denillo is a 2011 graduate of Clarion University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies. She went on to add a Master of Science in Sports Management Studies from California University (Pa.) in 2012.
