Started in 16 of 18 matches played… helped Daemen to a 17-9 overall record and a 9-3 mark in ECC play… 2024 ECC regular season champions… season ended in the NCAA East Region quarterfinals against Georgian Court… ranked second on the team with 41 blocks (0.66 blocks/set)... added 63 kills (1.02 kills/set) and 25 digs… finished with multiple digs in seven matches this season... posted a season high 9 kills against St. Thomas Aquinas on Sept 29... totaled a career-high 7 blocks against Mercy on Nov. 9
2023-24 (FRESHMAN)
Part of Daemen's 26-6 overall record and the Wildcats' third straight undefeated East Coast Conference season (12-0)... 2023 ECC Regular Season and Tournament champions... season ended in the NCAA East Regional final loss to Bentley… started in five matches for 18 total sets... recorded 11 kills and seven blocks on the season... totaled a season-high three kills in two games (vs. Wilmington on Sept. 15 and vs. Southern Connecticut State on Sept. 22)... posted a career-high four blocks against New Haven on Sept. 16

Attended the Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Jesus... played club volleyball for Corozal Team Island 17U where she earned top five on Premier, and won 11 games with just one loss last season.

Born Amelia Joan González Acosta on May 13, 2005 in Ponce, Puerto Rico... daughter of Samuel González and Johanna Acosta... has one older brother, Brian... hobbies include listening to music, going out with friends and going to the movies... bucket list items include traveling to Norway and Switzerland... majoring in Physical Therapy... chose to attend Daemen because "I'm sure it was the best decision to make for my future."
