Don Gleason is entering his fifth season as an assistant on the Daemen women's volleyball coaching staff in 2020. In this role, he contributes to all facets of the program including on-floor coaching, recruiting, scouting of opponents, spring/summer camp management and additional operational duties. Since joining the staff, Gleason has helped the Wildcats capture two East Coast Conference regular season championships, two NCAA tournament berths and one conference tournament title.

Gleason brings a wealth of experience to the position with previous coaching stops at the Division I and Division III levels.  The Hamburg, N.Y. native has been an assistant coach on the women's volleyball staffs at Stony Brook University (2015), the University at Buffalo (2014) and Yale University (2012-13).  He got his start as an assistant for both the men's and women's programs at Medaille College in 2011, and later spent the spring of 2013 as a volunteer assistant at the University of Southern California.

In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Gleason has extensive ties to the club volleyball scene, and he owns and operates Oasis Beach Volleyball Club for boys and girls ages 10-18.

In addition to his work on head coach Stephanie Albano's staff, Gleason was introduced as Daemen's first head coach for the Daemen men's volleyball program in May of 2017.

Gleason is single and he resides in Buffalo.
