First Team All-ECC… ECC Player of the Week once during the season… Led all Daemen players and ranked second in the conference in hitting percentage (.361) and seventh for kills per set (3.13) among ECC leaders… helped Daemen to a 26-6 overall record and the Wildcats' third straight undefeated East Coast Conference season (12-0)... 2023 ECC Tournament champions... season ended in the NCAA East Regional final to Bentley... started in 30 of Daemen's 32 matches while appearing in 106 sets... ranked second on the team in kills with 332... ranked third on the team in total blocks with 53... ranked third with 48 assisted blocks... averaged 0.70 digs per set (74 total)... earned a career-high 24 kills against Molloy on Sept. 24... recorded double-digit kills in twenty-one matches.

2022-23 (JUNIOR)
Honorable mention All-ECC... helped Daemen to a 20-6 overall record and the Wildcats' second straight undefeated East Coast Conference season (10-0)... 2022 ECC Tournament champions... season ended in the NCAA East Region in quarterfinal loss to Saint Anselm... started in 24 of Daemen's 26 matches for 74 sets... ranked third on the team in kills with 171 (2.31 kills per set)... finished with a .298 hitting percentage on the year... averaged 1.42 digs per set (105 total)... ranked third on the team in total blocks with 20... ranked second with 16 assisted blocks... recorded one double-double (kills-digs)... earned a career-high 14 kills and a career-high 15 digs against Roberts Wesleyan on Oct. 26... recorded double-digit kills in seven matches

BEFORE DAEMEN
Four year volleyball varsity letterman at Lake Nona High School in Orlando, FL... spent two years at Eastern Florida State College prior to Daemen... two-time All-Suncoast Conference selection... led the team in kills (3.93 per set) and ranked third in digs (2.27 per set) as a sophomore... totaled close to 500 kills in her two seasons at EFSC, finishing with 495... also totaled 350 digs in 37 career matches

Born Giselle Jarelis Giraud on August 12th, 2002 in West Palm Beach, FL ... daughter of Alfredo and Nydia Giraud ... has one sister, Jarielys, and one brother, Jariel ... hobbies include playing volleyball and beach volleyball ... bucket list items include traveling to Greece, riding horses on the beach and sky diving ... favorite movie is Miracle ... favorite vacation spot is the Bahamas ... majoring in Dentistry with a minor in Health Science...chose to attend Daemen because "I plan to achieve my academic goal and become a dentist, and Daemen has the requirements I need to achieve it. The volleyball team is really good, I'm excited to get better and help the program."
