Jake Kroll enters his first season as an assistant on Mike MacDonald's coaching staff in 2015-16. Kroll will be involved in all facets of the program including on-floor coaching, recruiting and scouting of opponents.
Kroll comes to Daemen after serving as the Assistant Video Coordinator for the men's basketball program at the University of Alabama for the 2014-15 season. In that role, Kroll worked closely with the Crimson Tide coaching staff on their opponent and self scouting initiatives.
Prior to his stint in Tuscaloosa, Kroll got his first coaching experience at the high school level, assisting the varsity team at Park School of Buffalo for the 2013-14 season.
As an undergrad, Kroll served as a student manager at the State University of New York at Buffalo from 2011-13 where he aided in the day-to-day operations of the NCAA Division I program.
A 2015 graduate of SUNY at Buffalo, Kroll holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications, graduating Cum Laude.
A native of Lancaster, N.Y., Kroll is also a 2011 graduate of Lancaster High School where he lettered in basketball, serving as team captain in his senior season.
