Molly Dineen joined the Daemen Sports Medicine and Performance staff in July of 2026 in the role of assistant athletic trainer. She provides essential athletic training to a variety of the university's intercollegiate athletic teams.Â
Dineen comes to Daemen after recently completing her Masters of Science in Athletic Training from the University at Buffalo in May of 2026. As part of her Masters program, Dineen spent semester long rotations as an athletic trainer at UB working with the football team, Grand Island High School, Buffalo State University, and Ohio State University, working with a variety of different teams throughout her training. Dineen also worked the NHL Exposure Combine in August 2024 and the NHL Players Combine in June 2025.
She received her Bachelor in Science Education from Bowling Green State University in April of 2024. During her undergraduate studies, Dineen spent two years interning as an athletic trainer with the Bowling Green men's ice hockey team, as well as a spring interning with the Starpoint Central School District.
Dineen is a native of North Tonawanda, N.Y.
