Hannah, Stilwell Named Bedore Tours Student-Athletes Of The Month

AMHERST, N.Y. - Men's basketball player Supreme Hannah (Rochester, N.Y./Eastridge) and women's basketball player Raeann Stilwell (Cheektowaga, N.Y./St. Mary's of Lancaster) have been named the Bedore Tours Student-Athletes of the Month for December, 2014.

Hannah, a 5-foot-10 junior guard, is enjoying a breakout season for the Wildcats.  He led Daemen to a 3-1 record in December after averaging 12.8 points, 5.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game.  For the month, Hannah connected on 16-of-32 field goal attempts while shooting an astonishing 61-percent from three-point range (11-for-18).

Hannah put up 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting from three-point land, adding five assists in Daemen's 75-61 win over Molloy College to open East Coast Conference play on Dec. 12.  He followed that with a career-high 22 points in 37 minutes of action in the Wildcats' 93-75 dispatching of Queens College on Dec. 13, knocking down 5-of-6 from three-point range in that one.

Hannah would add his first career double-double with 10 points and a career-high 10 assists in the Wildcats' 91-75 victory over St. Thomas University at the Trip Sports Cruzin' Classic in Miami Shores, Fla. on Dec. 17.

For the season, Hannah is averaging 11.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, helping Daemen to a 7-3 overall record, and a 3-0 conference mark after Saturday's 95-72 road win at the University of the District of Columbia.  He currently ranked seventh in the ECC in field goal percentage (.534) and second in three-point field goal percentage (.571).

Stilwell helped the women's team to an even 3-3 record last month by averaging 16.5 points, 3.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game.  For the month, she shot 45-percent from the field (31-for-69) and 43-percent from three-point range (20-for-47), making at least three shots from the land of plenty in all but one game.

Stilwell hit for 16 points and added four rebounds in Daemen's 72-60 victory over Molloy College to open East Coast Conference play on Dec. 12.  The following day, in a loss to ECC powerhouse Queens College, Stilwell did her part with 22 points - her first 20-point outing of the season, and the 12th of her career.

Following a 17-point outing vs. Barry University on Dec. 16, Stilwell led Daemen to a win over Goucher College on Dec. 18, scoring 12 points and grabbing four rebounds.  She later added a season-high 23 points while connecting on 7-of-10 shots from three-point range in the Wildcats' 101-83 victory over Briarcliffe College on Dec. 30.

For the season, Stilwell leads the team in scoring at 15.9 points per game which presently ranks sixth in the ECC.  She's adding 2.9 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game while shooting 45-percent from the field and 43-percent from three range, the latter of which ranks third in the ECC.
