Athlete Awards Athletes of the Month Choose Awards Type All Athlete Awards Athletes of the Month Jasmine Brundage Award Athletes of the Month Week Of 12/8/2023 Sport Women's Volleyball Bio View Full Bio Daemen University senior women's volleyball libero Jasmine Brundage was named Female Athlete of the Month for November after helping the women’s volleyball team to a 26-6 overall record and the Wildcats’ third straight trip to the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament.  After a stellar senior year, Brundage was named the 2023 ECC Libero of the Year for the second time in her career and earned First Team All-ECC for the first time. The senior libero earned AVCA Honorable Mention All-America this season, becoming the third player in Daemen’s NCAA Division II era (2015-present). A six-time ECC Defensive Player of the Week, Brundage picked up AVCA All-Region honors for the first time in her career. The 5-foot-5 defensive standout led the conference with 557 digs in the 2023 season while averaging a conference-high 5.21 digs per set. Brundage has 1,407 career digs which lands her eighth all-time in the Daemen record books. The senior libero helped the Wildcats to the program’s fifth overall NCAA tournament appearance and third consecutive ECC regular season and tournament titles. Daemen finished the 2023 season with a 26-6 record, a 12-0 record in ECC play, an ECC Championship, and East Region quarterfinal and semifinal victories with the season ending in their third East Region championship game last weekend.  Brundage notched her 1,000th career dig this season and is the only Daemen player to earn ECC Libero of the Year, taking home the award twice in her four-year Daemen career.
