The Wildcats only lost four total sets in the whole month.  The reigning 2023 Northeast Conference Player of the Year averaged 11.5 kills per match in February, with a .318 hitting percentage on only 54 errors in 13 matches. Schneider had a double-digit kill performance in eight of the ten games in the month, including all conference games. Schneider got his 1,000 career kill on Thursday, Feb. 29 at D’Youville on his seventh of 11 kills in the 3-0 victory over the Saints, becoming the first player in Daemen men’s volleyball history to reach the 1K mark. A 2023 First-Team All-NEC honoree, Schneider was named the NEC Player of the Week twice this month and also was named an NEC Prime Performer three times in February. Schneider leads the team in kills, averaging 3.85 kills per set. The Wildcats are 11-2 overall this season and 6-0 in NEC play.
