Athlete Awards Athletes of the Month Choose Awards Type All Athlete Awards Athletes of the Month Raeann Stilwell Award Athletes of the Month Week Of 3/10/2015 Sport Women's Basketball Bio View Full Bio AMHERST, N.Y. - Men's basketball player Jordan Greene (Fort Edward, N.Y./South Glens Falls) and women's basketball player Raeann Stilwell (Cheektowaga, N.Y./St. Mary's of Lancaster) have been named the Bedore Tours Student-Athletes of the Month for February, 2015.Greene, a 6-foot-5 senior forward, helped the Wildcats to a 4-4 record last month and scored the 1,000th point of his career. Â In the eight outings, Greene scored in double figures six times, averaging 15.6 points while adding 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.Throughout his career, Greene's specialty has been three-point shooting and that was certainly the case last month. Â The senior made multiple three-point baskets in six of the team's eight games and, for the month, connected on 28-of-62 attemps (45-percent) from long distance.Greene's milestone basket came against St. Thomas Aquinas College on Feb. 20. Â He also equaled his career-high with 28 points in the ballgame.Like Greene, Stilwell also scored the 1,000th point of her career last month, doing so against University of the District of Columbia on Feb. 6. Â She became the 22nd player in team history to reach the milestone.For the month, Stilwell averaged 9.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while helping Daemen to three wins in eight games.On top of her milestone moment, it was a three-pointer by Stilwell at the end of regulation that forced the Wildcats' game vs. Mercy College on February 21 into overtime.
