Box Score FORT KENT, ME - The Daemen Wildcats improved to a perfect 7-0 on the season today after handing the host Maine-Fort Kent Lady Bengals a 78-58 loss on the final day of the Bengal Basketball Classic.  With an 18-day hiatus between games, the Wildcats will enter December with an undefeated record for the first time in team history, according to longtime bench boss Dave Skolen.

Juniors Ellie Allen (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home HS) and Chelsea Andorka (Canton, OH/Central Catholic HS) led the way for the Wildcats as the duo notched 20 points each and combined to shoot 16-for-26 from the field.  Allen added a team-best seven rebounds as well as a game-high four assists.  Andorka filled up the stat sheet as well with three steals, three rebounds and two blocked shots.

The Wildcats also got a nine-point, seven-rebound effort from senior Courtney Donovan (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island HS).  Off the bench, freshmen Jillian Fitzner (Hamburg, NY/Immaculata Acad.) and Meghan Short (Sandown, NH/Timberline Regional HS) split 16 points between them.

Ericka Christensen paced the Lady Bengals with 15 points while Taylor Boucher added 14 points off the bench.

The Wildcats tip it up next on December 2 against Middlebury (VT) at the Williams College (MA) Holiday Tournament.
