Daemen took control with an 11-1 run to open the second half. Donovan, playing in her final home regular season game, keyed the run with eight points including two three-point bombs. From there, Daemen led by as many as 16 and Point Park only cut the deficit under double figures once.

Joncelyn Peterkin had 14 points to lead Point Park. April Austin chipped in with 13.

Senior Courtney Donovan played her last home game for the Wildcats   Donovan has been a key contributor for Daemen over the past three seasons after transferring from the University of Rochester.  She has helped lead the Wildcats to three straight seasons of 20 or more wins.  Last year she helped Daemen to the 'Sweet 16' of the National Tournament and their highest ever final season national ranking (12th).  Courtney has been one of the top shot blockers and best passing post players in the country over the past couple of seasons.  She was voted team captain this season.  The 'history & government' major will be a two-time NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete and she will be attending law school after graduating from Daemen this spring.  Courtney is the daughter of Dennis and Debra.

“Courtney has such a good all-around game.  I have never coached another player at her height that can shoot and pass as well as she can.  She has been an extreme pleasure to coach and to get to know these past three years.  Courtney is also very easy to get along with and has been an excellent teammate.” – Daemen head coach Dave Skolen.
