FULL MEN'S RESULTS
PORTLAND, N.Y. - The Daemen College men's and women's cross-country teams got their respective 2012 seasons underway today with both teams taking identical fifth place finishes at the Fredonia State Invitational held at Lake Erie State Park.
Conditions were wet and windy; not ideal conditions for running according to first-year head coach

Ethan Dinan (Geneva, NY/Geneva HS) paced the Daemen men with a time of 28:05.03 which was good for 25th place in the individual times. Right behind him in 26th with a time of 28:17.02 was sophomore
Zac Ekdahl (Middlesex, NY/Marcus Whitman HS).
Fredonia State took the men's team title by placing five runners in the top 13. Brockport's Chris Wilbur was the men's individual champion, running the 8K race at 26:08.88.
On the women's side, Daemen was led by freshman
Jordan Weir (Cato, NY/Cato-Meridian HS) who placed sixth with a time of 24:16.52.
Brockport took the team title and had the two top runners in the race. Rachel Malone's 22:15.16 was the top time.
