LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. - The Daemen College women's soccer team picked up a win via forfeit today to move to 2-4-1 on the season. Today's opponent, Lincoln University, a NCAA Division II independent in women's soccer, was forced to back out of the contest because of a lack of available players.
The win gives Daemen a sweep of its non-conference games this weekend. The Wildcats defeated Washington Adventist University 6-0 last night in Takoma Park, Md.
With the loss, Lincoln falls to 0-6-0 on the season.
Daemen returns to action this coming Friday, September 25 with its East Coast Conference opener versus Mercy College.
