The tournament schedule is now set as the Wildcats join eight other teams in competing at the Medaille Invitational. It marks Daemen's first tournament this season in the Western New York area following previous trips to the Grapevine Classic (Erie, Pa.) and Mount Shootout (Frederick Md.). Daemen will play nine total matches at the event, and their schedule is as follows... Saturday, Nov. 2 - traditional match format - times are approximate depending on completion of matches throughout the day 10:55 a.m. - vs. Mercyhurst 11:55 a.m. - BYE (team will bowl with total pinfall counting in final standings) 12:55 p.m. - vs. Roberts Wesleyan 1:55 p.m. - vs. Hilbert 2:55 p.m. - vs. Penn State Behrend Sunday, Nov. 3 - Baker total pinfall format - times are approximate depending on completion of matches throughout the day 8:40 a.m. - vs. Medaille 9:40 a.m. - vs. Villa Maria 10:40 a.m. - vs. Pitt-Bradford 11:40 a.m. - vs. D'Youville 12:30 p.m. - vs. TBA (positional round: matchups based on total pinfall) 2. Daemen holds a 47-33 all-time record against the tournament field. More than half of the losses have come against tournament host Medaille (9-19 all-time). The Mavericks enter the tournament ranked no. 12 in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Division II-III preseason poll, and they've posted a 12-10 overall record so far this season. Daemen is 8-11 overall following their first two tournaments of the season. The Wildcats are 4-4 this season against teams that are in the field this weekend.  3. Daemen will be looking to match or better their third-place finish at last season's Medaille Invitational. The Wildcats posted a total pinfall of 5,308 over 10 matches, finishing slightly behind first-place Medaille (5,311) and second-place Roberts Wesleyan (5,310). The Wildcats had an even 5-5 record in head-to-head matches during the tournament. Alex Syrotynski (198.0 average) and Rachel Steele (194.0 average) paced the Wildcats, and each earned all-tournament team honors. Daemen College features the only NCAA Division II athletics program in the Buffalo-Niagara region, sponsoring 17 intercollegiate teams.
