2. Daemen enters the tournament with a 20-18 overall record this season, and a trio of top three finishes in four prior tournaments. That includes a third-place finish at last weekend's Redhawk Fall Rally where the Wildcats won six out of nine matches and posted a total pin fall of 8,233. The Wildcats were led once again by freshman Paige Bartosz who ranked first of more than 60 competing bowlers with a 191.60 average in the traditional format matches of the tournament. She was joined by juniors Katlyn Newberry and Adrianna Pencek who both ranked in the top 15 for traditional scoring average.

3. The Wildcats will face four opponents this weekend who are ranked in the National Tenpin Coaches Association Division II-III preseason poll, including two they've not yet faced this season. Daemen is 2-4 this season against teams included in the poll. Both wins have come against Walsh (Tied No. 14), while losses have come against No. 12 Medaille (three times) and No. 7 Kutztown. Daemen faces both Medaille and Kutztown this weekend, along with No. 8 Caldwell and No. 10 Chestnut Hill. The tournament field also features nine of the 14 teams that comprise the East Coast Conference for women's bowling. Daemen plays matches against ECC members Kutztown, Wilmington, Chestnut Hill, Caldwell, Felician, Mercyhurst and Bloomfield this weekend, all of which they'll see again at the ECC Championships in March of 2020.
