The action gets underway Saturday, Mar. 2 at 10 a.m. from Lancaster Lanes. All three matches can be seen live on the East Coast Conference Network. The Wildcats have won 10 of their last 11 matches, pushing their overall record this season to 23-20. Coach Carrie Racsumberger's squad is coming off a third-place finish at the Brother Patrick Lacey Memorial Tournament hosted by St. Vincent College on Feb. 17. The Wildcats entered as the defending tournament champions and went on to post a 4-1 record, picking up wins over Ursuline College (783-754), Medaille College (894-852), Penn State Altoona (962-493) and Villa Maria College (899-798). Only a semifinal round loss to Medaille (881-812) kept the Wildcats from repeating as tournament champions. Sophomore Alex Hasiotis (Rochester, N.Y.) was named to the all-tournament team after posting a 193.0 average over the five games. She bowled a 205 during the win over Medaille and posted a team-best 209 during the semifinal loss to Medaille. Saturday's meetings will be the eighth, ninth and 10th matches of the season between Daemen and Roberts Wesleyan. Daemen scored an 833-792 win when the teams last met (Feb. 3 at the Bowling for a Kure Tournament), but RWC holds a 5-2 edge in the series this season. Daemen leads the all-time series 12-8. Seniors Kaitlyn O'Hara (Clarence Center, N.Y.) and Cassandra Johnson (Buffalo, N.Y.) will be recognized in a pre-match ceremony in honor of Senior Day. Both O'Hara and Johnson have been members of the team since its inception in 2015. In addition to Saturday's matches, Racsumberger has added three head-to-head matches vs. Medaille on Tuesday, Mar 19 at Classic Lanes. Those matches will represent Daemen's final tune-up opportunity prior to the East Coast Conference Women's Bowling Championship which takes place Mar. 22-24 at Hiester Lanes in Reading, Pa.
