HIGHLIGHTS

  • Cal U opened the scoring in the 32nd minute. Freshman Jake Nebinski intercepted a Daemen pass at midfield, dribble toward the Daemen net and slid a pass to fellow rookie Eli Mitchell. Mitchel spun and fired a shot that deflected of goalkeeper Jarrett Lecceadone (Randolph, N.Y.) and bounced just inside the right post. It marked Mitchell's second goal of the year.
