#25 Embry-Riddle Knocks Off Wildcats

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Daemen College men's tennis team played their second-straight match against a nationally-ranked opponent today, falling 7-0 to No. 25 Embry-Riddle University at the Crotty Tennis Complex. 

With the loss, the Wildcats drop to 3-7 on the season. Today's match was their second of three during a tour of The Sunshine State, and it comes on the heels of a 6-1 loss Saturday at No. 18 Florida Southern College. 

Embry-Riddle, a member of the powerful Sunshine State Athletic Conference, improved to 8-1 overall this season. It was the Eagles fourth-straight win and their second in as many days against a team from the NCAA Division II East Region. Embry-Riddle also defeated Bentley University out of the Northeast-10 Conference by a 7-0 final yesterday.
