ROCHESTER , N.Y. - The nationally-ranked Daemen College women's basketball team completed the season sweep of rival Roberts Wesleyan College after the Wildcats posted a 58-42 victory tonight at Voller Athletic Center on the RWC campus. Third Quarter (Daemen 20, Roberts Wesleyan 13) - Daemen opened the third quarter with a rare four-point play from Paige, as she was fouled in the act of drilling three-pointer and made the ensuing free throw. Roberts Wesleyan answered with back-to-back layups by Gkizani to make it a 31-21 Daemen lead, but the Wildcats countered with a 9-3 run and took a 40-24 lead after Ivy canned a jumper from the free throw line with 4:19 left in the quarter. The teams traded baskets the rest of the quarter and Daemen took a 47-30 lead into the fourth.
