The event schedule is now set as the Wildcats join three other teams in competing at the Medaille Quad-Match. The Wildcats will play three total matches at the event, and their schedule is as follows... 6:30 p.m. - vs. Medaille 7:30 p.m. - vs. Roberts Wesleyan 8:30 p.m. - vs. D'Youville 2. Daemen will be competing for the first time in 368 days. The team's last competition came on February 16, 2020 when they captured the Brother Patrick Lacey Memorial Tournament title for the second time in three seasons. Daemen's final dual match and the East Coast Conference Championships were canceled last March due to the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic. 3. The Wildcats boast a veteran-laden roster the features eight returners. Seniors Katlyn Newberry (Rochester, N.Y.), Alex Syrotynski (East Greenbush, N.Y.), Adrianna Pencek (Dunkirk, N.Y.) and Alex Hasiotis (Rochester, N.Y.) return to lead the team. Sophomores Caitlyn Nowak (West Seneca, N.Y.) and Paige Bartosz (West Seneca, N.Y.) also return after each made an immediate impact as rookies last season. The Wildcats are coming off a 40-34 campaign last season which established a new program record for wins in a season. Daemen College features the premier NCAA Division II athletics program in the Buffalo-Niagara region, sponsoring 17 intercollegiate teams.
