It was an East Coast Conference match which sends the Wildcats to 2-1 in league play this season. The Spartans, who have been on a COVID-19 pause until this week, improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the league. The Spartans swept through doubles play and dropped only two games in the process, opening up a 1-0 lead in the match. Karina Blas, Viktoriia Pavlovets, Samanta Villegas Robles, Jemima Parkinson, Ayesha Burnett and Eliza Mulder all made it a double-point afternoon for themselves by winning their respective singles matches. Daemen returns to action Thursday, April 22 with a non-league contest at Edinboro.
