LEWISTON, N.Y. - The Daemen University men's tennis team completed the fall portion of its 2022-23 season with a 7-0 loss at Division I Niagara University this afternoon on the Niagara campus. Daemen falls to 0-3. It marked the first dual match of the year for the Purple Eagles.
Niagara opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches to earn the one point as per NCAA Division I/II scoring. The Purple Eagles then won all six singles matches to secure the win.

#1 - Trevor Masi & Tanner Bedard (Niagara) defeat Alex Lumanog & Adam Pasierb (Daemen), 6-1
#2 - Jorge Sedeno & Manuel Alonso (Niagara) defeat Luis de Vuyst & Rohan Chitanand (Daemen), 7-5
#3 - Bruce Bodak & Roberto Vaca (Niagara) defeat Philip Vance & Zachary LaPlante (Daemen), 7-5

#1 - Alonso defeats Lumanog, 6-0, 6-3
#2 - Bedard defeats DeVuyst, 7-6 (7-1), 6-0
#3 - Masi defeats Vance, 6-0, 6-0
#4 - Bodak defeats Chitanand, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3
#5 - Sedeno defeats LaPlante, 6-4, 6-3
#6 - Vaca defeats Andy Gibson (Daemen), 6-1, 6-1
