The match was played under the Division III scoring format which awards points for each match. Laplante's success tonight gives him 10 combined singles/doubles wins this season - best on the team. He has won three of his last four singles matches and leads the team with five singles wins. With wins in both singles and doubles play tonight, Vance surpassed the 20 win mark for his career. Tonight's match marked the first-ever meeting between the Wildcats and Hornets.
