Men's Tennis Upended By Spartans

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - The Daemen University men's tennis team returned to home action this afternoon and suffered a 7-0 setback to the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans in an East Coast Conference match at Miller Tennis Center. 

Daemen's No. 2 doubles team of Zachary Laplante (Ottawa, Ont.) and Phillip Vance (Orchard Park, N.Y.) picked up their sixth win as a pair this season. The duo is tied for the team lead in doubles victories. Laplante's 11 combined singles and doubles wins leads the team.

The same two teams meet again tomorrow (Thursday, Apr. 14) beginning at 1 p.m. at the Village Glen in Williamsville.
