SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Daemen University women's tennis team played its first dual match of the 2022-23 season today and suffered a 6-1 setback to the host Dolphins of Le Moyne College. It also marked the first dual match of the year for the Dolphins, who posted a 14-6 record and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament last year.
Le Moyne opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches, and then won four of the six singles matches in straight sets.
