Miranto Selected ECC Co-Player of the Week Sophomore Netted Her First Career Hat Trick In Daemen's Lone Game Last Week 10/2/2023 3:47:00 PM By: CONTACT: Tom McDermott, Director of Athletics Communications | tmcdermo@daemen.edu AMHERST, N.Y. – Daemen University women's soccer player Kylie Miranto (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) has been honored by the East Coast Conference for their play last week. Miranto was selected the ECC Women's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week, marking the second-straight week she has earned the honor. The announcement of award winners was made via the league's weekly sport report which was released this afternoon. It is the third career major weekly award for Miranto, who was selected ECC Rookie of the Week once last year. She scored three goals--her first career hat trick--as Daemen rolled to a 5-0 win over Lincoln University in its lone game of the week. She has now scored at least on goal in four-straight games. Miranto has started all eight games this season and leads the ECC in goals (8) and points (17). Daemen is unbeaten (4-0-1) in its last five games and stands at 4-3-1 overall and 3-0-0 in the ECC. The Wildcats head to West Virginia on Wednesday (Oct. 4) for a non-conference game at Bluefield State University.
