Time Changes Announced For Sunday's Basketball Doubleheader Against UDC

AMHERST, N.Y. – Time changes have been announced for the upcoming East Coast Conference basketball doubleheader at Daemen University this Sunday (Feb. 14). Daemen is hosting the University of the District of Columbia that day. The women's game will tip-off at 9 a.m., followed by the men's game at 11 a.m. Both games will take place in Lumsden Gymnasium on the Daemen campus.

Both Daemen programs are ranked regionally and both are undefeated at home this season.

The Daemen women (8-4, 3-0 ECC) saw their five-game winning streak come to an end following a 73-56 loss at regionally-ranked Indiana University of Pennsylvania this past weekend. The Wildcats defeated Ferris State University, which was ranked No. 5 in the nation at the time, last week and are ranked eighth in the latest Division II College Sports Communicators (D2CSC) Regional Poll. Daemen is 4-0 at home this season has won its last 19 home games dating back to last season, which ranks as the longest home winning streak among NCAA Division II East Region teams and is the fourth longest home winning streak among all Division II programs.
 
The Daemen men (12-4, 2-1 ECC) have won four-straight (and 11 of their last 13) games and are ranked fifth in the East Region by the D2 College Sports Communicators (D2CSC). The Wildcats are 7-0 at home this season have won their last 16 home games dating back to last season, which ranks as the longest home winning streak among NCAA Division II East Region teams and is the fifth longest home winning streak among all Division II programs.

Both Daemen teams kick off the weekend by hosting the College of Staten Island Friday night at Lumsden Gym. The women's game tips off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
