ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – Olivia Ingenito scored twice to help Molloy University punch their ticket to the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship defeat Daemen University, 4-1, in the East Coast Conference Women's Soccer title game Saturday afternoon at the Rockville Centre Sports Complex.
With the win, the Lions, who were the ECC Regular Season Champions and were playing in their fifth-straight ECC title game, earned the leagues automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship and improved their record to 12-4-2. As for the Wildcats, they end the year with a 9-9 record after making their second consecutive appearance in the title game.
HIGHLIGHTS
• The host Lions struck first in the 17
th minute as All-ECC First Team selection Isabella Muro rifled a ball into the back of the net after collecting a cross from Sarah Cavallo in the box.
• Molloy doubled their advantage in the 34
th minute as they sent a corner that bounced around in the box before Ingenito deflected the ball into the back of the net for her first of the day.
• The Wildcats nearly got a goal back with 35 seconds left in the half as freshman
Kaitlyn Wright (Geneva, N.Y.) found open field and tried to slide a ball past Elyse Munoz, but the ECC Goalkeeper of the Year stopped the late chance.
• Out of the halftime break, the Lions continued roll as Ingenito tapped a ball into the net after it deflected off the crossbar in the 49
th minute for her second tally of the afternoon.
• Molloy added one more goal in the 72
nd minute off the foot of Madison Falkowski bump their lead to 4-0.
• Daemen ended the afternoon on a high note as Wright flicked a ball into the back of the net off a cross from All-ECC First Team selection

Becca Schultz (Grand Island, N.Y.) made eight saves on 23 faced. As for Molloy, Munoz stopped three balls in the win. Both goalies played the entire contest as well.
• Molloy outshot Daemen, 23-9, and held a 12-4 lead in shots on goal.
GAME NOTES
• Today marked the 13
th all-time meeting between the two sides and second consecutive meeting in the ECC Championship title game. Molloy improves to 9-4 overall and 2-0 in the postseason against Daemen.
• Schultz ends the year with 155 saves, a record in the program's Division II era.
• The Wildcats were given two yellow cards in the contest. It marked the first time this season the Blue and White were awarded two-or-more cards in a contest.
• With her goal today, Wright scored her team-leading third postseason goal. The Geneva, N.Y., native scored twice against Queens in the ECC Championship semifinal round.
