LOCKPORT, N.Y. - The Daemen University women's bowling team compiled a 6-4 record over two days of the Daemen Storm Fall Classic to finish in second place. Lewis, who received votes to be ranked in the National Tenpin Coaches Association Top-25, won the event and finished with a 7-3 record. All five matches today were Baker Format as well.
Also prior to today's matches, the Wildcats honored their lone graduating member, fifth year
Mollie Gizicki (Brighton, Mich.).
HIGHLIGHTS
• After dropping their first match of the day to RV Lewis, 1,057-938, Daemen rebounded in their next game with a 984-901 victory over Roberts Wesleyan.Â
• The 'Cats 984 pins against the Redhawks represented the highest total pinfall against their regional rival in any format all season.Â
• The Wildcats suffered a 943-917 setback to eventual tournament champions Saint Anselm in their next match before dropping a 1,013-961 match to Walsh.Â
• Daemen ended the day on a high note as they defeated Hilbert by over 300 pins, 1,117-774.
• The win over Hawks marked the first win for Daemen by over 300 pins using Baker Format since they throttled Pitt-Greensburg at the 2023 Daemen Storm Fall Classic, 941-637. It also marked the third time this season that the Wildcats totaled over 1,000 pins in a match using any scoring.Â

Daemen's 2024-25 season will continue during the Spring 2025Â semester. The team's spring schedule will be announced at a later date.
