AMHERST, N.Y. – For the second consecutive year, junior Kylie Miranto (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) and sophomore Magda Carpenter (Lebanon, Conn.) were tabbed to the NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Women's Soccer All-East Region team. The 26-player team represents the top players from the East Coast Conference, the Northeast-10 Conference and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The full announcement of the D2CCA All-East Region Teams was made in a press release this morning and can be found here.

Miranto landed on the first team for the second consecutive season and Carpenter took home second team honors. Miranto is now eligible for D2CCA All-America honors as well, which will be announced on Dec. 10. Last season, Miranto and Carpenter became the first players in program history to garner first team D2CCA All-Region honors with Miranto later becoming the first player in program history to receive D2CCA All-American honors in the programs Division II era (2015-pres.).

Franklin Pierce of the Northeast-10 led all teams with five players earning all-region honors. Within the East Coast Conference, six players nabbed all-region honors with Daemen, Molloy and Mercy all landing two players on either the first or second team.

The ECC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and first team selection, Miranto repeated as the ECC's Offensive Player of the Year after she ended the year with 30 points and as the team leader in goals with 12. The two-time ECC Offensive Player of the Week recorded a least one point in nine of a possible 16 regular season matches this fall, highlighted by a streak of four-or-more points in three consecutive games from Sept. 21 at the College of Staten Island through Sept. 28 at St. Thomas Aquinas College. The junior forward became the fourth player in program history to surpass 30 goals with her goal against Queens (Oct. 19).

As for Carpenter, she earns her third major honor this season after getting named to the All-ECC First Team and getting named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team. Carpenter ended the year ranked second on the team in points with 12 and bagged two game-winning goals, good for seventh in the conference at the end of the regular season. The Lebanon, Conn., native tallied three of her four goals this season during conference play and provided an assist in both of the Wildcats postseason contests against Queens and Molloy.

This season, Daemen compiled a 9-9 overall record, highlighted by a near perfect 6-1 mark in ECC play, and made their second consecutive appearance in the ECC Women's Soccer Championship where they lost to Molloy in a rematch of the 2023 ECC Women's Soccer Championship.
