Wildcats Ranked 12th in NTCA Division II/III Poll

AMHERST, N.Y. - The Daemen University women's bowling team is ranked No. 12 in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Division II/III Poll released today. It marks the first regular season poll for the 2023-24 season. The Wildcats were ranked 11th in the NTCA Division II/III preseason poll released this past October, which is the highest for the Wildcats in program history.

Daemen posted a 27-17 record during the fall portion of the 2023-24 schedule. Daemen took part in the prestigious Destination Orlando event along with some of the top programs in the country. The Wildcats also earned the first place trophy at the Daemen Storm Fall Classic for the second straight year. The spring season opens this weekend (Feb. 9-10) when the Wildcats head to Latrobe, Pa. Daemen will take on Saint Vincent College in a dual match on Feb. 9 and then take part in the Brother Patrick Lacey Memorial Tournament the following day. Daemen has participated in this tournament each of the last five years (tournament was not held in 2021 due to COVID-19) and has claimed the tournament title three times (2018, 2019 and 2022). Saint Vincent is ranked ninth in the NTCA Division II/III poll released today.
