The Wildcats opened the day falling 960-849 to Mercyhurst, but bounced back with a 928-862 victory over ECC rival D'Youville. Daemen dropped a close 881-843 decision to William Smith before defeating Penn State Behrend, 920-787. The matches then switched to Baker Best of 7, where the Wildcats faced William Smith again but fell 4-3. Junior Brenna Forsha (Tonawanda, N.Y.) led Daemen with an 18.18 Baker Average. UP NEXT The Wildcats remain in the Buffalo area for their next tournament, competing at the Hilbert Hammer Classic in Hamburg, N.Y. on Nov. 22-23. Daemen University features the premier NCAA Division II athletics program in the Buffalo-Niagara region, sponsoring 17 intercollegiate teams.
