AMHERST, N.Y. — The East Coast Conference released its final set of women's soccer weekly awards on Monday, with two Wildcats earning honors. Kylie Miranto (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Becca Schultz garnered Defensive Player of the Week.

Miranto logged a combined seven points (3G, 1A) and two game-winning goals in two Daemen victories last week. This marks the second time this season she has earned Offensive Player of the Week.

The senior scored twice in the second half last Wednesday to help the Wildcats erase a two-goal deficit and come back to defeat Southern New Hampshire, 3-2. It marked her fourth two-goal performance of the season. On Saturday, Miranto scored the first goal of the game, putting the Wildcats ahead 1-0, and tallied an assist to help Daemen down Staten Island, 3-0.

Schultz posted a 2-0 record, a 1.00 goals-against average, and a .900 save percentage while making 18 saves last week. She earned Defensive Player of the Week for the seventh time this season.

The senior made 12 saves against Southern New Hampshire last Wednesday. Schultz stopped eight shots in the first half, then four in the second half (while not conceding a goal) to help the Wildcats in their comeback efforts. It marked her ninth game with double-digit saves this season. On Saturday, Shultz made six saves and recorded her fourth shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over Staten Island.

The Wildcats earned the No. 4 seed in the ECC Women's Soccer Championships and host the No. 5 seed Queens in the first round on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Royal Park.
