TOP THREE
Daemen secured a third-place finish at the Bobcat Baker Classic (Feb. 1-2), hosted by Pitt Greensburg, in their first event of the 2025 calendar year. Saint Vincent claimed first-place while Roberts Wesleyan came in second. Daemen rounded out the top three with their third-place finish. During the second day of action, Daemen opened the day with a 980-853 setback to eventual tournament champions St. Vincent. The 'Cats rebounded in their second game of the day as they took down Pitt Greensburg, 823-777. After two close frames to start, the Wildcats defeated the host bobcats 203-161 in the third game and never looked back en route to their first win of the day. Penn State Behrend bested the Blue and White in their third game of the day with a 923-725 decision. In their final game of the day, the Wildcats tamed Roberts Wesleyan, 829-811. The 'Cats took the lead for good with a 189-150 win in game two and never relinquished their lead. Overall, Daemen went 5-4 at the Bobcat Baker Classic.

TOP THREE IN RPI
Ahead of the start of the spring, the Wildcats have the third highest RPI of any ECC team this season with an RPI of 46. Associate member Kutztown topped the list with an RPI of 30 with fellow associate member Bryant close behind at 39. After the 'Cats, St. Thomas Aquinas ranked fourth with an RPI of 52. Roberts Wesleyan (56), D'Youville (61), Adelphi (68) and St. Thomas Aquinas (82) rounded out the remainder of the conference. Looking at this weekend, the Wildcats will play three teams with a RPI of 35 or better as they battle No. 24 Mercyhurst (RPI 31), RV Niagara (RPI 27) and No. 19 Merrimack (RPI 22).

1,000 CLUB
During the fall season, Daemen managed to knock down 1,000-or-more pins on three occasions. The first instance came on Oct. 5 when the Blue and White downed crosstown rival D'Youville 1,032-902 at the Mercyhurst Invitational. Later in the fall at the Daemen Storm Fall Classic, the Wildcats downed then RV Lewis on Nov. 23, 1000-941. Against Lewis, three bowlers tallied 200 pins-or-more with junior Bailey Glass (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) leading the way with 251 total pins. Daemen ended their fall on a high note as they tallied 1,117 pins compared to 774 for Hilbert in their final match of the fall slate on Nov. 24.

WENT TO THE POLLS
The Daemen University women's bowling team was tabbed fourth in the 2024-25 East Coast Conference Women's Bowling Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league office announced on Sept. 30.
