A graphically designed image listing the 2025 Daemen men's soccer scheduleAMHERST, N.Y. - Daemen University Head Men's Soccer Coach Bediako Swan has revealed the Wildcats' 2025 schedule which features 17 total games, including eight at home - all to be played at the newly constructed Royal Park -  and nine on the road.

The 'Cats will begin the season with three consecutive road games, starting in Ohio against Walsh (Sept. 4) and Malone (Sept. 6). Daemen knocked off Walsh with a 2-1 decision at home last season, just the Wildcats' second all-time victory over the Cavaliers. The Wildcats will wrap up their season-opening three-game road swing with a trip to Vermont to face Saint Michael's (Sept. 10) for the fourth time in program history.

The Wildcats will make their Royal Park debut on Sept. 12 against Saint Anselm of the Northeast-10 Conference. Located less than two miles from Daemen University's Amherst campus, Royal Park is a nine-acre public park that recently underwent a nearly $10 million improvement project focused on upgrading and increasing the variety of facilities available for use by Town of Amherst residents and Daemen University Athletics. The field includes a multi-use, synthetic turf field built to meet NCAA Division II standards with a new field house building that includes locker rooms, athletic training room, storage space, concessions & ticket office, public handicap accessible multi-use restrooms and family toilet room. The Royal Park Improvement Project was developed collaboratively with Daemen University and the Amherst Community through a variety of community meetings and is also the home venue for Daemen's tennis and lacrosse programs.

Daemen welcomes Goldey-Beacom to Royal Park two days later (Sept. 14). The 'Cats earned a 3-1 road victory in Wilmington, Del., against the Lightning last season. A road trip to Rindge, N.H. to face three-time national champions Franklin Pierce (Sept. 17) interrupts an otherwise long home stretch, with six out of seven games at Royal Park. A four-game homestand - the 'Cats' longest of the season - that spans the end of September and start of October begins with Daemen's East Coast Conference opener against St. Thomas Aquinas (Sept. 20). Lock Haven (Sept. 23) and Georgian Court (Sept. 27) give Daemen back-to-back non-conference home outings, before returning to ECC play against Queens on Oct. 4.

Daemen will hit the road for the next three games, making trips to conference foes Roberts Wesleyan (Oct. 8), Mercy (Oct. 11), as well as their non-conference finale against Slippery Rock (Oct. 15). Daemen returns to Western New York to host Molloy on Oct. 18 before getting back on the road for their final away contests of the season, as they visit crosstown rival D'Youville (Oct. 22) and defending ECC champions District of Columbia (Oct. 25). The Wildcats will wrap up the regular season at home on Nov. 1 against Staten Island.

Daemen returns a handful of players from the 2024 campaign including Bahamas Men's Soccer National Team defender Jean Tilo (Port-au-Prince, Haiti), forward Larry Noel (Nassau, Bahamas) and junior midfielder Joshua Choi (Upland, Calif.). Last season, the Wildcats went 3-10-2 overall and 0-7-1 in ECC play.
