Marisa Rickard (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) also ripped a shot wide in the 71st minute and sent another just off target in the 86th. The Wildcats earned two corners in the second half—one in the 68th minute and another in the 89th—but could not convert. In goal, Becca Schultz (Grand Island, N.Y.) made 13 saves, including several crucial diving stops that kept the Purple Knights from extending their lead.
