Schultz posted a 2-0 record, a 1.00 goals-against average, and a .917 save percentage last week, stopping a combined 22 shots in the two wins. The senior tied her season high for the third time with 13 saves in a 2-0 non-conference win over Roberts Wesleyan on Wednesday. She stopped six shots in the first half and seven in the second to secure her first shutout of the season and the 14th of her career. Schultz logged eight saves in a 3-2 victory over Post on Saturday. Six of those stops came in the first half, helping the Wildcats come back after falling behind 1-0. The goalkeeper leads the ECC in saves (62), saves per game (8.86), and save percentage (.899). She is also third in goals-against average (1.018). This is the third time this season that Schultz has been named Defensive Player of the Week, and the 11th time in her career she has earned the accolade. The Wildcats are back in action on Wednesday, heading to Roberts Wesleyan for a 7 p.m. ECC contest.
