Geoff Schneider Daemen Finishes in Sixth Place at Wildcat D2/D3 Invitational 2/15/2026 3:40:00 PM By: CONTACT: Connor Griffin, Assistant Director of Athletics Communications | cgriffin@daemen.edu TURNERSVILLE, N.J. — The Daemen women's bowling team wrapped up the Wildcat D2/D3 Invitational with two wins in baker format best-of-seven matches, earning sixth place in the tournament. The Wildcats finished with a 6-6 record total at the tournament, going 5-1 in their final six matches. Daemen was the No. 7 seed in the tournament format, facing the No. 8 seed and tournament host Wilmington (Del.) in their first match of the day. The Wildcats earned a sweep, winning all four games by scores of 160-136, 185-154, 183-180, and 167-148. In its second match of the day, Daemen faced off against Adelphi, picking up a 4-2 victory. The Wildcats opened the match by winning the first game 195-187 and the second 131-113. After the Panthers won the second game, the Wildcat won the third 146-131 before closing it out in the sixth game with a 142-125 win, taking the match 4-2. The final match of the day saw the Wildcats face Felician. Daemen evened it up at 1-1 after winning the second game 189-180. The Wildcats then fell behind 3-1 before winning the fifth game 211-192, but could not tie it up, falling 4-2. UP NEXT The Wildcats are back in action next weekend, staying in Western New York to compete at the Niagara Spring Classic on Saturday and Sunday.
