The Daemen University women's bowling team is back in action this weekend, competing at the Niagara Spring Classic on Saturday and Sunday. Earlier this year, the Wildcats competed at Niagara's Brunswick Fall Open, picking up wins over Pitt Bradford, D'Youville, and Penn State Behrend.

TOURNAMENT INFO
The tournament begins on Saturday with traditional format matches against Niagara, Hilbert, Mercyhurst, Roberts Wesleyan, and William Smith. On Sunday, the tournament switches to Baker Format, with the Wildcats battling Merrimack, Bryant, and Penn State Behrend. There will also be one final round of Baker best-of-seven based on the results. Daemen competed in this tournament last season, earning wins over D'Youville, Bryant, Pitt-Bradford, and William Smith.

LAST TIME OUT
Daemen bowled at the Wildcat D2/D3 Invitational last weekend. The Wildcats dropped all four of their matches on the first day, falling to Emmanuel (GA), #15 Newman, Dominican (NY), and Felician. Daemen then competed in a blind round, knocking down 828 pins. Leading the way individually was Brenna Forsha (Tonawanda, N.Y.), with an average of 190.00, finishing in 13th place out of 54 bowlers. Daemen put on a strong showing on Day 2, posting a 4-1 record in Baker Format matches. The team came back to defeat Holy Family (789-783), then, after falling to Kutztown, defeated Adelphi (912-903). The Wildcats followed that with another win over Holy Family by just one pin, 796-795, also in comeback fashion, before defeating Wilmington (806-743). On the final day, the Wildcats earned wins over Wilmington (4-0) and Adelphi (4-2) in Baker best-of-seven matches before falling to Felician (4-2) as Daemen took home sixth place.

ECC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Forsha was named to the ECC Weekly Honor Roll on Thursday. She led the Wildcats with an average of 190.00, finishing 13th out of 54 bowlers in traditional rounds on the first day of the Wildcat D2/D3 Invitational.
