The Wildcats posted a 2-3 record on the first day of the tournament. Daemen started the day defeating Western New York and ECC foe Roberts Wesleyan by a score of 895-811. Daemen dropped a tough match against #10 Niagara, falling 987-921. The Wildcats then lost to Mercyhurst (1030-806), followed by a tight 913-902 loss to William Smith. Daemen ended the day on a high note, defeating Hilbert, 958-920. Leading the way individually for the Wildcats was Brenna Forsha (Tonawanda, N.Y.), who posted a 200.20 average, finishing in sixth place out of 69 bowlers. Forsha posted scores of 167, 231,159,198, and 246 for a total of 1,001. Cassidy Papero (Cheektowaga, N.Y.) finished 20th with an average of 182.00. She logged scores of 221, 169, 188, 157, and 175 for a total of 910 UP NEXT The tournament concludes on Sunday with Baker Format matches against Bryant, Penn State Behrend, and Merrimack. There will also be one round of Baker best-of-seven based on Sunday's result.
