AMHERST, N.Y. -- It's back! The Daemen University men's and women's cross country teams and the Daemen men's and women's track & field teams will host the 2026 Daemen Summer Track Series again this July. The four-week series will run on Thursdays throughout the month of July, beginning Thursday, July 9 and running through Thursday, July 30. All meets will be held at the Sweet Home High School track and will begin at 6 PM each week.

There will be a multitude of events to participate in during this series. Running events include the 100 meter dash, 200 meter run, 400 meter run, 800 meter run, mile run, and 3200 meter run. Field events include the long jump and shot put. All events are open to both children and adults unless otherwise notated. All events will be timed with live results available on milesplit.com. 

For ages 17 and under the cost is $10. Ages 18 and up costs $15. The entry fees include registration for up to four events, and both cash and credit card will be accepted. Registration will run on the day of the event from 5 PM to 5:50 PM, walk-up registration only. 

All of the proceeds for the Daemen Summer Track Series will benefit the Daemen University cross country/track & field programs.
