AMHERST, N.Y. -- For the second consecutive week, Daemen University women's volleyball freshman Audrey Johnson (Mequon, Wisc.) has earned the East Coast Conference Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Monday. 

The freshman outside hitter put together another highly successful week to earn her second straight ECC weekly award. Johnson tallied a team-high 12 kills with just one error on 24 attacks to hit at a season-high .458 percentage in Daemen's 3-0 sweep over Saint Michael's on Saturday. It marked the seventh match this season that Johnson hit double-digit kills. The freshman notched her fourth double-double of the season, adding 10 digs along with two service aces in the win.

Johnson continues to impress on the young season, leading the Wildcats with 125 kills along with 15 aces. Her 2.5 kills/set ranks 10th among the ECC leaders. She ranks fourth on the team with 93 digs (1.86/set) and added 16 blocks on the year. On the year, Johnson has four double-doubles (kills-digs).
