AS A SENIOR (2019-20): Medical redshirt.

AS A JUNIOR (2018-19): Competed in and was among the team's top-five finishers in all seven races ... earned the third top-10 finish of his career by placing fourth at the season-opening Daniel Walker Invitational on Sept. 1 ... ran a season-best 8K time of 27:15.9 at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational on Sept. 22, placing 35th out of 232 competitors ... earned the sixth top-25 finish of his career by placing 19th at the ECC Championships on Nov. 3 with a time of 27:33.8 ... competed in the East Region Championships on Nov. 17, placing 89th (out of 170) with a 10K time of 36:15.6.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-18): Earned second-team All-ECC honors ... competed in and was among the team's top-five finishers in all seven races, including four times as the team's No. 1 finisher ... won the season-opening Daniel Walker Invitational with a 5K time of 16:28 ... ran a season-best 8K time of 26:40.7 at the ECC Championships on Oct. 21, placing 12th (out of 72) ... made his regional championship debut on Nov. 4, placing 88th (out of 158) with a 10K time of 37:12.6.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17): Appeared in six of the team's seven meets, and figured in the scoring each time as one of the team's top-five finishers ... made his collegiate debut at the Le Moyne Alumni Short Course Invitational on Sept. 3 and placed 10th ... ran a season-best 8K time of 28:08.6 at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational on Sept. 24 ... placed 25th at the ECC Championships with an 8K time of 28:19.2. 

AT FILLMORE HIGH SCHOOL: Competed for the Fillmore Eagles and coach Kari Mancuso ... four-time Allegany County Conference MVP ... three-time team MVP ... set school record in 3,000 meter steeplechase (10:35) ... also played four years of varsity soccer ... scholar athlete. 

PERSONAL: Born Joshua Richard Bodnar on December 13, 1997 in Fillmore, N.Y. ... son of Jason & Susan Bodnar ... has two sisters, Hannah & Lydia Bodnar ... hobbies include running, fishing and being outdoors ... chose to attend Daemen because of the small class sizes and the financial package he received ... majoring in Adolescent Education with a concentration in Social Studies.
