CAREER
A four-year starter, Stranahan played in 68 of a possible 72 games over her career and totaled 10 goals 14 assists and 34 points. She helped the Wildcats to a 35-30-2 record, three ECC Tournament appearances and the program's first-ever NCAA Division II Tournament appearance in 2019. She earned all-conference honors three times in five seasons (Third Team All-ECC in 2022, Second Team All-ECC in 2021, Third Team All-ECC in 2019. The ECC did not select all-conference teams in 2020 due to COVID-19).Â
2022-23 (GRADUATE STUDENT)
Team captain... Third Team All-ECC selection... appeared in and started 16 of the Wildcats’ 17 games... recorded all 90 minutes of play in six games this season... led the team in assists (4)... tallied five total shots on goal …helped the Wildcats to a fourth place finish in the ECC and the 4th consecutive postseason berth.
2021-22 (SENIOR)
One of seven players to appear in and start all 16 games for the Wildcats... All-ECC Second Team selection... finished fifth on the team in goals scored (3), tied for third in assists (3) and fifth in points overall (9)... also recorded 16 total shots on goal this season... scored second half goal in 3-1 loss at St. Anselm on Sept. 15 that sparked Wildcats to outscore opponents, 32-13, over last 13 contests of season... also scored goals in victories against Lincoln (Pa.) (Sept. 26) and rival Roberts Wesleyan (Sept. 29)... goal against Redhawks was 10th of Daemen career... later recorded 10th career assist in 2-1 win versus Clarion on Oct. 26.
2020-21 (JUNIOR)
Appeared in all 4 games and started in 3 games during the unorthodox season that was greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic ... Played a season high 81 minutes during a 1-0 Wildcat loss @ Roberts Wesleyan on April 3rd ... Registered one shot on goal during the last two games of the season (April 11th @ D'Youville) and (April 17th vs. D'Youville).
2019-20 (SOPHOMORE)
Third-team All-ECCÂ ... recipient of the team's Most Improved Player award ... appeared in all 18 games and made 17 starts, finishing the season with six goals, five assists and 17 points (second on team in all categories) ... finished among the ECC's top 10 in goals (9th), assists (6th) and points (7th) ... recorded points in seven different games played 90 or more minutes in five games ... scored goals in four of the team's first five games ... with single goals against Urbana, Mansfield and Le Moyne, Stranahan became the first Daemen player other than Jamie Boyar to score in three successive games since Meghan Lipinoga and Kacey Bougard both did so in 2013 ... recorded a career-high four points (1 goal, two assists) in a 7-0 rout of Nyack on Sept. 18 ... played all 110 minutes in a 2-2 tie with Davis & Elkins on Sept. 25 ... scored a goal and had an assist - her third game with three or more points - in a 2-1 road win at Shepherd on Oct. 9 ... member of the starting lineup in Daemen's first-ever NCAA tournament game at St. Rose on Nov. 22.
2018-19 (FRESHMAN)
Appeared in 14 games, including five as a starter ... totaled four points on one goal and two assists ... made her collegiate debut and scored her first goal during Daemen's season-opening 5-2 win over Bloomfield on Aug. 30 ... recorded her first career assist on Katja Meyer's game-winning goal in the 90th minute of a 2-1 victory over NYIT on Sept. 29 ... made her first career start against nationally-ranked Mercy on Oct. 3.Â
BEFORE DAEMEN
Five-year varsity player for the Grand Island Vikings and coach Dave Bowman ... led the Vikings to a combined 26-0 record in Niagara Frontier League record over her junior and senior seasons, winning the league and Section VI Class A championships both years ... team captain ... first-team All-NFL, first-team All-WNY and fourth-team All-State as a senior ... first-team All-NFL and honorable mention All-WNY as a junior ... Character Athlete of the Game Award at sectional championship game ... scholar athlete ... also competed in club soccer for Empire United, winning two State Cup championships (2013, 2014).Â
