2019-20 (JUNIOR)
Competed in and placed among Daemen's top-five finishers in all six races... posted a season-best 5K time of 21:02.1 on Oct. 19 at the Canisius Alumni Classic... posted a 5K time of 21:38.60 and placed 21st (out of 77) at the ECC Championships on Oct. 26... posted a season-best 6K time of 25:16.8 at the East Region Championships on Nov. 9. 

2018-19 (SOPHOMORE)
Competed in all seven races, and placed in the team's top-five finishers four times ... posted a season-best 5K time of 21:28.8 and placed 32nd (out of 78) at the ECC Championships on Nov. 3 ... competed in the East Region Championships for the first time, posting a season-best 6K time of 26:03.00 ... recipient of the team's Most Improved Player award. 

2017-18 (FRESHMAN)
Competed in five of the team's seven meets, and figured in the scoring once as a top-five finisher among her teammates ... made her collegiate debut on Sept. 1 at the Daniel Walker Invitational, placing ninth with a time of 21:43 ... posted a season-best 5K time of 21:37.5 at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational on Sept. 23 ... posted a season-best 6K time of 26:17.9 at the Mike Woods Invitational on Sept. 30 ... placed 47th (out of 79) in her ECC Championships debut on Oct. 21. 

BEFORE DAEMEN
Earned a combined eight varsity letters for cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field while competing for the Lockport Lions and coach Timothy Willett ... led the Lions to five Niagara Frontier League championships - three in outdoor track and field, two in cross country ... also helped the Lions place first in the Section VI Large Schools Cross Country Championship as a senior, placing fifth individually ... competed in the NYSPHSAA Cross Country Championship in Chenango Valley ... member of school record-setting 4x400 meter relay team (indoor track) ... recipient of multiple team awards, including MVP of indoor and outdoor track and field teams ... scholar athlete, high honor roll student and National Honor Society member.

Born Taya Lynn Mucha on December 7, 1998 in Buffalo, N.Y. ... daughter of Jason & Erin Mucha ... has three siblings - Jason, Madison and Robert Mucha ... hobbies include running, reading, writing, listening to music and hanging out with friends ... chose to attend Daemen because it was her cheapest option, she loved the team, the atmosphere was friendly and inviting, and she loves the idea of small classrooms and individual attention ... majoring in Psychology.
