Former Daemen student-athlete Craig Buchanan is entering his third season as a graduate assistant coach on the men's soccr staff. He is charged with assisting head coach Bediako Swan with various responsibilities including on-field coaching, recruiting, scouting of opponents and administrative tasks.
A native of Glasgow, Scotland, Buchanan competed for the Wildcats from 2017-19. In three seasons, he appeared in 46 games while making 23 starts and totaling four goals, two assists and 10 points. His finest season came in 2017 when he helped the Wildcats match the program record for wins by producing six points (two goals, two assists).
Buchanan is a 2020 Daemen graduate, achieving a bachelor's degree in business administration. He had previously attended Glasgow College where he earned a degree in sports therapy.
