Steven Doermer begins his sixth year as a member of the Daemen men's soccer coaching staff in 2015. In this role, Doermer assists with the day-to-day operations of the team, including on-field coaching, scouting of opponents and recruiting.
Doermer joined the staff after completing a four-year career on the pitch for the Wildcats, suiting up from 2006-09. During that stretch he was a two-time Honorable Mention All-American Mideast Conference selection, earning the distinction as both a sophomore and a senior. He led the team in goals three times and in assists twice. He finished his career with 11 goals and seven assists.
Prior to his collegiate career, Doermer was a First Team All-Niagara Frontier League and Second Team All-Western New York player for Grand Island High School.
He graduated in 2011 from Daemen with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Sciences before adding his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree, also from Daemen, in 2013.
Doermer holds a National "D" Coaching License.
