Biography

2021-22 (GRADUATE STUDENT)
Appeared in all 16 games (11 starts) for the Wildcats... finished with one goal, one assist and three points along with four total shots on goal... recorded lone goal of season in final appearance of Daemen career, a 4-2 win versus Queens on Nov. 6... marked his first goal since 7-1 loss versus Le Moyne on Sept. 17, 2019... recorded assist at D'Youville on Sept. 18... one of 14 players to record at least one point during season... appeared in 53 total contests (30 starts), recorded two career goals and two career assists (six points) in five-year career. 

2020-21 (SENIOR)
Appeared in all 5 games during the unorthodox season that was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic ... Derek started the season opening game @ Gannon on March 21st and then saw minutes in every game to close out the season. 

2019-20 (JUNIOR)
One of three players to appear in all 17 games ... also made 15 starts ... registered his first career goal on Sept. 17 vs. Le Moyne ... registered his first career assist on Oct. 26 at Roberts Wesleyan ... played all 90 minutes in two contests (@ California, Sept. 25; @ Queens, Oct. 12) ... recipient of the team's Wildcat Award. 

2018-19 (SOPHOMORE)
Appeared in 15 games and made three starts ... made his collegiate debut in the season opener vs. Walsh on Aug. 30 ... played a season-high 79 minutes at nationally-ranked Notre Dame (Ohio) on Oct. 9 ... made his first career start on Oct. 20 at LIU Post.
