Kyle Wells

Kyle Wells joined the Daemen Sports Medicine & Performance staff in August of 2022. He provides essential athletic training coverage to a variety of intercollegiate athletic teams at the university.

Wells comes to Daemen from the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), where he served as a Certified Athletic Trainer, provided outreach services to the Batavia (N.Y.) City School District's Athletics, and clinical responsibilities at UR Medicine Orthopaedics & Physical Performance primarily with their Workplace Wellness Program. 


Wells earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and his master's degree in Athletic Training from Lock Haven University. While at LHU he was a five year (2016-2021) member of the Lock Haven Athletic Training Club and served as the club's vice president in 2018 and 2019. He gained clinical experience at each of the NCAA divisions including Lock Haven (Division II), Pennsylvania College of Technology (Division III), and St. Lawrence University (Division I & III) prior to earning his master's degree in May of 2021. While at St. Lawrence, he assisted with coverage of the school's NCAA Division I hockey programs (men and women) and also worked with the men's and women's lacrosse and track & field programs.

A native of Fairport, N.Y., Wells is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, New York State Athletic Trainers Association and holds his Corrective Exercise Specialization from National Academy of Sports Medicine.
